Cheap Fun...

We had a great weekend. Hubs is already working so much so we tried to just soak up some time with our kids. And we had some time with Hubs' sister, Shannon and his niece Mal. That is always fun. Sweet Mal gets bombarded with playing Chutes and Ladders, dollhouse, puzzles, books, etc. almost immediately. And for being a teenager, she is a very good sport about it.

We decided on a Dora party for K. I am usually not a character person, but this baby just loves Dora. She is going to be in heaven with Dora all around her, so DORA IT IS!! We ordered some supplies for the party and they came in a big box...fun times!!

After church on Sunday, I decided to do some rearranging and organizing (believe me, there is lots of organizing to do around here). There is a trundle bed in K's room and the bottom part can either be drawers or a bed. We decided to switch it from drawers to a bed...that required moving a mattress....

Then, it seemed as if we needed to get some energy out....so outdoors we go. Hide 'n' seek is popular right now...I guess Daddy is a good hider, since they are just 2 and 4. He is going to have to spruce up soon on his hiding skills though...

Then, everyone was worn out for the day. I think the older kids made it to the park after dinner, but the younger ones stayed home for some rest. As a lot of you know, F uses A LOT of energy and sleeps quite a bit (and very hard apparently...see the sleep marks). She was out by 7pm last night and later, Hubs and K Bel enjoyed some bonding time too...

So...a good weekend it was! Hope everyone else had as much fun as we did!!!
