C celebrated his 100th day of kindergarten last week. Wow...yet another milestone that I wasn't ready for. I have not prepared myself for all of these big kid things that happen. But, C is embracing it all! He had a fun filled day and we (all the girls) joined in on the fun. I made cupcakes for the class and helped blow up balloons. The classes came together and counted 100 cupcakes and counted to 100 and then let their balloons fly into the sky. Of course, little K is already so grown up that she participates in everything that C does anytime that we are at school. She loves it.

Silly willies....
Santa brought some Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head toys for the kids for Christmas. The girls have really enjoyed playing with them...and entertaining me with them as well. I love my babies. They are truly the greatest kids and being with them is such a gift to me. My family brings me such joy. I am a very lucky lady.
I don't get to catch C being silly as often as I would like since he is at school for most of the day. But here are a couple of his 6 year pics that we took a few weeks ago. I can't believe that my little man is so big. He couldn't be a better guy if you ask me, although some people might say I am biased...

Family fun...
Not long ago, we decided to venture out to an area museum. And we had so much fun. We were able to have so much fun even though our hearts are still struggling. It was such a blessing to get out of the house as a family and enjoy each other.
We played in a sound area. Hubs and C talked to each other through a pipe from opposite sides of the room. The kids ran up and down a giant piano.
C showed off his long jump skills in the exercise room. And K-bel cheered him on from her daddy's shoulders.
We visited the room of the old west. C roared at the buffalo and we tried for a hook 'em in front of the longhorns. Look at K...haha.
Can you find our circus? We are in disguise...
We really had so fun. Hubs drew a great picture. The kids made life size bubbles (F's was the best). And C and I sat in the eye socket of a humpback whale.
Recently, I have realized so much more about life and family. And our day at the museum was good...really really good. We will have to go back.
